Vintage Slovakian Block Printed, Indigo Dyed Folk Skirt

Wonderful heavily hand -pleated vintage Slovakian folk skirt

Made from heavy block printed and indigo dyed linen dyed in artisan workshop in Slovakia. Dark indigo with a ring pattern in paler blue. Hand pleated.

5 panels of fabric, 4 of which are pleated, the 5th panel is flat and has an opening over which an apron would have been worn.

Waist 80 cm
Circumference at base 315 cm

In good condition , some damage to hem lining. .I have not Laundered it, it came to me wrapped in fabric in which it has been stored
