Published in Bucharest in 1977 this is a wondeful resource for designers and embroiderers. A looseleaf folder with a hard cover measuring 35.5 x 25.5cm, containing a total of 57 patterns each opening opening up to either 48 x 34 cm or 68 x 48cm. Printed in blue and red. Therer is information abou the pattern ; its name, origin, original size, owner/ maker on the reverse of each pattern.
These patterns come from Udvarhely ( Romanian, Odorheiu) an area populated by Hungarian speaking Transylvanian Szeklers in Eastern Transylvania.
In addition there is a 31 page booklet with old images of embroidery plus stitch instructions.
Complete and in good used condition
